Role Description The Staff Psychologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lexington, KY. This position provides direct clinical services, including individual and group psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and treatment planning for adults with acute and persistent mental health needs. The role includes collaborating closely with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement person-centered, recovery-oriented care plans. The role may also involve providing consultation to staff, contributing to staff training, and supporting trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology, including clinical theories, evidence-based interventions, and ethical practice. Proficiency in Psychological Assessment, including diagnostic evaluation, forensic evaluation, risk assessment, and treatment planning. Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited program. Eligible for or currently holding licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Kentucky (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe). Experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness in inpatient or similar settings preferred.
