Submit a CE Proposal
To maintain KPA's high standard of continuing education programming and meet APA’s accreditation standards all CE proposal are required to include:
- A minimum of 3 peer-reviewed journals or peer-reviewed articles, published within the last 10 years, upon which your presentation is based. Per APA guidelines books, or specific chapters within books, are not acceptable references.
- A diversity statement explaining how the content of your workshop will consider and address at least one aspect of the general population’s diversity (e.g., differing ages, races, sexual orientations, religions, gender identities, cultures, abilities or socio-economic realities). In your statement of how you will directly address diversity in your workshop include at least one scholarly peer-reviewed reference related to the aspect of diversity that you will discuss. References used can be from the references submitted in the general references but must be peer-reviewed and support the diversity statement directly and cannot be books or chapters from books. If you are unable to provide a reference specifically related to diversity, please discuss any limitations to the current body of knowledge with regard to diversity.
- A minimum of three learning objectives per workshop regardless of the workshop length, or one learning objective per hour of content for workshops exceeding three hours.
- CV and Headshot for each presenter/co-presenter suitable for use in marketing and promotional material.
