In general, topics of Burnout and Well-Being among psychologists do not receive as much attention as is warranted. Psychologists find themselves to be consistently “outward facing” and may experience a drain on their own well-being not readily recognized by themselves or others. Consequently, it is now crucial that we systematically attend and be accountable to how this era of progressively increasing demands are affecting our own well-being. This two-part experiential workshop will encourage self-exploration and application of concepts as potential components of psychologists’ ethical responsibility specifically as it pertains to levels of impairment and competence [Section 2.03 and 2.06 (a) (b)]. This workshop fulfills1.5 of the 3 hours necessary according to the KRS 319 ethics/risk management requirement for psychology professionals.Skill Level: Beginning.
