Terms of Monthly Membership

Perhaps the most unique benefit KPA offers is the ability to join and pay for membership at a cost-effective monthly rate. Please review the terms and conditions below for monthly membership billing.

By selecting a monthly payment option, you agree to a 12-month membership commitment and authorize KPA to charge the payment method on file on a recurring monthly basis.

A valid credit card is required to use the monthly billing option. Your right to access KPA membership benefits is conditional upon KPA’s receipt of payment.

For Early Career Doctoral Years 1–5 and Early Career Masters Years 1–5, membership dues are paid in 12 monthly installments over the course of the 12-month membership term.

For all other membership types offered with a monthly payment option, dues are billed in monthly installments during the membership year. At the end of the 12-month term, membership will automatically renew for the next membership year unless canceled before the renewal date. Members will be notified 20 days before the start of the next membership year.

KPA will send an email reminder 5 days before each monthly payment due date. These reminders are provided as a courtesy. Failure to receive an email reminder does not relieve you of your payment obligation.

If you cancel before the end of your 12-month membership term, you will be invoiced for the remaining balance due for the rest of that term.

If payment cannot be processed, or if a charge is refunded or reversed for any reason, including a chargeback, KPA reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership benefits until the account is brought current. KPA reserves the right to collect any unpaid balance remaining for the current membership term.

To avoid renewal into the next membership year, notice must be provided to KPA before the renewal date. Renewal details, including any rate changes, will be communicated in advance of the new membership year.
