RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work remotely to conduct virtual, individualized, succinct screenings of children, adults, families and/or their caregivers who present with specific requests and needs related to a wide range of developmental disabilities including autism and related disorders, or mental health diagnoses.
• Utilize your keen observation skills, strong listening skills, clinical acumen, experience and training to provide a compassionate response in granting or denying requests for services and accommodations.
• Serve a high-volume program; engage and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including Registered Nurses, Behavior Analysts, Psychologists, and others. (moved up here from requirements)
• Work with non-clinical colleagues to ensure an efficient, streamlined process
• Demonstrate professional conduct and provide excellent customer service

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS 

• Valid License as a practicing Psychologist in any US State
• PhD or PsyD in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited institution
• At least 3 years postdoctoral experience in clinical or counseling psychology, rehabilitation psychology and/or neuropsychology.
• In depth knowledge and assessment experience with neurodevelopmental disorders, psychiatric/mental health conditions andnneurocognitive disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorders.
• Strong clinical interview skills, excellent observational skills, detail oriented
• Personable, with strong communication skills, especially spoken English language
• Ability to maintain composure, be a keen observer, and make sound clinical judgments in fast-paced environments
• Ability to seek appropriate consultation and team support when necessary
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving landscape
• Work remotely from any US location
• Be available for both remote and in person training prior to initiation of work
• Ability to engage in virtual, collaborative interactions with staff and individuals located throughout the US
• Comfort working with a diverse population
• Some experience working in settings such as schools, camps, community programs is desirable
• Comfort with general computer skills, basic word processing, video conferencing, electronic queue systems, mobile technology devices; willing to learn new and basic technologies and applications

The CU Division of Social Science is seeking a psychologist for a tenure-track position teaching a variety of courses in the psychology program. Primary responsibilities will be teaching in both face-to-face and online settings, academic advising, mentoring of students, developing classes for online delivery, committee assignments, scholarship, and working with colleagues in the Psychology Department to maintain and advance the program. Conduct Public Safety Pre-hire and Fitness-for-Duty Psychological Evaluations

National Testing Network, Inc. (NTN), provides pre-hire recruitment and screening for 2000+ police and fire departments nationwide. We are launching a new service to our clients – pre-hire psychological evaluations. These evaluations are required by nearly all law enforcement agencies and many fire service agencies throughout the state.This is a great opportunity for licensed psychologists in Kentucky to develop a significant revenue stream, or just work a few extra hours – whatever best meets your needs. Our organization will provide all assessment and administrative services required to conduct these evaluations - except for the psychologist/candidate interview, which will be conducted online.

sSpecifically, NTN will handle all of the administrative aspects of the pre-hire psychological evaluations including:

• Obtaining clients through our national/local network of public safety agencies
• Providing detailed on-site and video training for evaluators.

Training topics include:

• Why we conduct psychological evaluations
• Detailed descriptions of psychometric assessments and reportsSemi-structured interview format and questions for required topics oCompleting the report evaluation template
• NTN process systems
• Collecting all required candidate data prior to contacting evaluator/contractor including

Psychologists’ Responsibilities
While NTN will provide all of the process components described above, the critical evaluation component of the face-to-face, video-based interview will be conducted by psychologists licensed in Kentucky. The following is an anticipated workflow and timeline for the psychologists:

• Review documentation and assessment scores (15 minutes)
• Conduct candidate interview (30-45 minutes)
• Complete and submit report evaluation template (5 minutes)
