Congratulations to Dr. Danelle Stevens-Watkins for being selected by APA's Committee for the Advancement of Professional Practice and the Committee of State Leaders as a Diversity Delegate to the 2012 State Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. Congratulations to Amanda Oerther, M.A. for being selected as the APAGS representative to attend the 2012 State Leadership Conference. Great news for Dr. Stevens-Watkins, Ms. Oerther, and for KPA!
KPA Board of Directors wins Art of Governance Award!
Louisville’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNPE) announced the winners of its 2011 Pyramid Awards for Excellence in recognition of outstanding leadership in Greater Louisville’s nonprofit sector. The KPA Board was the selected recipient for the Art of Governance Award, sponsored by Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP. This award honors the Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization who have:
- displayed an outstanding level of participation and partnership with their organization
- provided active oversight of mission, planning and program outcomes
- contributed toward financial health of the organization
