2010 KPA Spring Academic Conference
Promoting the Professional Development of Kentucky's Students

Looking Ahead: Your Future in Psychology
The 2010 KPA Academic Conference will be held on Saturday, March 27th at the University of Louisville. Once again, KPA will focus on student mentoring and provide a unique opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students to present their research in juried competitions, learn about career options and paths, and develop practical skills and network with fellow students from all across the state. New this year will be an exhibit-style set-up of psychologists with a range of specialties, interests, and careers we are calling Career Directions: Psychologists on Parade which will provide students a chance to see what they can do in the field of psychology. Students may also nominate a faculty member as the Outstanding Graduate or Outstanding Undergraduate Mentor. Faculty members can participate through volunteer judging opportunities, mentoring presentations and being there to support their students. Department Chairs are again invited to attend the Annual Networking Luncheon (details forthcoming). The 23nd Annual Psych Bowl will be a featured event, with undergraduate teams vying for the top slot as Psych Bowl Champions 2010!
